Adult Group Fitness Coach 
  • 6-18 hours per week
  • $16-$20 per hour (dependent upon experience)

Job Description
  • Lead adult group fitness classes with a diverse population
  • Program classes that are safe for the participants and provide movement modifications
  • Instructing participants to use the fitness equipment properly 
  • Additional responsibilities in the obstacle areas of the gym as a Floor Supervisor
  • Take photos and videos of classes to share on social media and use for the website

Qualifications
  • National certification or specific sport/discipline preferred (ACSM, ACE, Spartan SGX, SFG Kettlebell, etc.)
  • Prior experience teaching/leading group classes
  • Knowledgeable in techniques and dynamics of Group Fitness
  • Excellent knowledge of how to use gym equipment properly and train clients accordingly
  • Knowledge of obstacle sports such as obstacle course racing (OCR) and Ninja Warrior preferred
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • Outgoing and friendly personality
  • First Aid/CPR certified

  • Communicate ideas and suggestions to the Program Director on ways to improve and add to the program
Summer Morning Program Director- Ultimate Obstacles and The School Yahd
  • 20-25 hours per week
  • $20-$24 per hour (dependent upon experience)

Job Description
  • Summer Morning Program director for both Ultimate Obstacles (Ninja Warrior focus) and The School Yahd (General Sports Focus)
  • Planning and managing both programs on alternating weeks from the end of June until the end of August 
  • Develop and coordinate day programs and activities for a safe, engaging, high quality summer program 
  • Leading children ages 6-12 through activities between 8:00am - 12:00pm weekdays
  • Determine supply and equipment needs and in ordering/purchasing within budget
  • Address crisis management, discipline and troubleshooting issues related to children and/or staff
  • Write an evaluation of each program week (highlights, problems, tweaks, notes of interest, recommendations, ideas)
  • Assist in ensuring that any health guidelines are met
  • Support and supervise staff in organizing and implementing activities, and in decision-making and trouble-shooting situations that may arise. 
  • Assist in the evaluation of the summer program itself, as well as the experience for youth participants

Qualifications
  • Minimum two years working with children ages 6-12
  • First Aid/CPR certified
  • Weekday morning availability June 27th - August 27th
  • Ability to lead and direct staff
  • Confident and direct in leading children safely through activities
  • Confident communicating with parents/guardians 
  • Works well with minimal supervision, and asks for assistance when needed
  • Ability to pass MA background checks

Expectations
  • Plan themes and activities for each week of the summer morning program
  • Maintain a positive team atmosphere for students, families, and staff
  • Purchase any necessary equipment/supplies needed for activities
  • Coordinate with assistant staff members
  • Schedule hours, activities planned, expectations, etc.
